About us
Worcester School of Skills is situated in the picturesque South African town of Worcester, situated in the fruitful Breede River Valley of the Western Cape. It covers an area with diverse social, economic and cultural contrasts. At the same time, (traditionally), WVS serves the communities plagued by poverty and many social ills of South Africa, the Western Cape, the Boland Region and Worcester.
We focus on our ability to build meaningful relationships with ostracized learners, training, teaching and mentoring our children. We value the right relationships before we expect results; therefore, we believe the best results flow from healthy relationships.
Teachers approach every child as a unique individual. We strive to teach, train and mentor them with a holistic and coherent approach. With this strategy, we want to serve the bigger vision of the Western Cape Education Department, which states the following: “Quality education for every child, in every classroom, in every school, in the Western Cape.”
